We tried to make the controls similar to Wario Wood's which also had tanky-er controls.
The game has been updated to hopefully make everything smoother, snappier and faster :)

Compared to the prelude this one is already better, still some issues with text visibility. Sound takes this a step from alright to really good! three better be on its way!

This is honestly a really cool idea. Developing it further could lead to some really fun stuff. Maybe music and a timing bonus could turn it into a really fun rhythm game.

Fun. Could use some feedback when you shoot, like knocking enemies back. Another thing is either making the FOV bigger or giving a minimap to show enemies. Especially since the projectiles can come from off screen.

thanks for the feedback but you can zoom out the camera because of that issue have you tried that?? You can zoom in and out by pausing look at the tutorial for more info

I get what you are going for with the physics and stuff and it could be really fun. But maybe try thinking about a better control scheme. The shoot button should be something you can reach without having to take a finger off of your directional inputs.
